Working with Kim’s evangelism ministry has developed a confidence in Christ to help me overcome challenges of fears of people and the unknown.  When  He puts a person before me, I know God is loving that person immensely and His heart is longing to receive him or her into His kingdom, His family.  Outward appearances don’t reveal the person’s hunger for Jesus’ truth, so developing a trust in the Holy Spirit to help this person hear and be drawn to salvation, has been a growing process.  I still have walls of resistance, but I recognize more how the Holy Spirit teaches me to overcome and knock out the blockages of darkness.  A freedom to be me keeps growing as I bring pleasure by responding to His beckoning.

God took me on a journey when I began to contemplate attending nursing school. I met Kim and she helped me overcome fear. I grew in the confidence of praying for others. She taught how to enter His peace and love. She challenged me to minister to others who needed to hear from God. As I began nursing school, I realized some of the RN students didn’t believe in prayer, but I still prayed for them. Later they started asking me for prayer prior to their exams. The last day of the RN program, I led the class in prayer. Less than a year after I began my new job as a RN, the hospital board members read a testimony from one of my patients who I prayed for. They voted to award me the ‘Contributor to Patient Award’.  I’m now living in my destiny and what God designed me for.

The things I have learned while serving under Evangelist Kim helped me overcome my shyness of sharing my faith and love for Jesus. Street witnessing to complete strangers on the streets of Phoenix, community outreaches, door to door witnessing, feeding the homeless and demonstrating they have value, praying for all types of people and sharing the gospel and His Love. Our group laughed, wept in tears for the lost, and pressed into the love of Jesus Christ. We visited over 45 nursing homes during the summer to encourage people and let them know, “God loves you”.  On our trip to the Philippines, I took pictures and witnessed miracles that Jesus performed.”

I don’t remember when I first met and joined Kim Kidd ministries, but her excitement and joy was something I loved. It reminded me of when I renewed my life in Christ Jesus. I couldn’t stop telling all my clients about it. I wanted everyone to feel and know the joy I felt in Jesus. Kim invited my wife and I to go to a nursing home to minister and I fell in love with it. I was a relatively new believer in Christ when I joined Kim’s team 5 yrs ago. I had spent very little time pressing into the Lord and no experience at all in praying for others and the lost. Kim ‘s ministry stirred up what was inside me to experience what the Lord had called me to do. I had the hunger for the things of God, but I needed training. Once I saw how God could use me through Kim’s guidance and instruction, I became passionate for praying for and reaching the lost. I grew so quickly in the Lord that Kim elevated me to leader of a team and the Lord gave me a very fruitful season following very closely what Kim had taught me….. to hear from the Holy Spirit and let HIM guide my path. Words are not enough for how she has helped me on this journey!

In the summer of 2013 I joined the Soul Winning team.  Evangelist Kim’s training helped me overcome and be more confident when approaching people. We evangelized in the streets, parking lots and apartment communities. I faced my fear. Not the fear of approaching people but fear of being rejected or harmed by opponents of the Gospel.  When I won my first soul I did not know if I should shout for joy or cry. It was a young woman whom I was surprised would even stop and listen to me. I have led quite a few people to the Lord since.
