How Our Partnership Came About…
On one trip to Leyte, Kim and her team kept driving by a certain building. On day five she felt led to stop the car and take pictures of this destroyed building. “There is something special about this building”, she said. That evening they met the school’s principal and learned about PromisedLand Academy, the only high school and Christian school in Palompon.
PromisedLand was Almost Destroyed by Hurricane Yolanda in 2013…
It had been almost completely destroyed by hurricane Yolanda, and prior to the hurricane, some people tried to stop this Christian school from being built. The principal then shared what one city official said, “Look at what your God did to your school, you will never rebuild it!” When Kim heard this, she immediately jumped up out of her chair and declared, “Over my dead body! This school will not shut down! I don’t know what my God is going to do about it, but I will pray about it and let you know!”
Determined to Restore the School…
Moved by the Spirit of the Lord to help restore this school Kim Kidd Ministries has since raised support for teacher’s salaries, had phone service reconnected, provided new computers, sports equipment, nurses station equipment, new teacher’s textbooks and new chairs, built them a website, developed brochures and business cards, assisted with administrative needs and roofing repairs, completely restored their Library, Science Lab, Computer Lab, various classrooms, some exterior walls, their main entrance, and portions of their fencing.
Touched by The Holy Spirit!
Upon Arriving in 2020… Kim was taken straight to the school for an unplanned welcome. She was asked to speak to the students, so she shared what the Lord put on her heart then lead the children through a prayer of repentance followed by instructions to pray for one another. Students began to fall out under the anointing, some shook, and many wept as He healed, delivered, and filled them.

2021 School Update
Restored Science & Computer Lab
We have restored and stocked these classes with supplies, but more student computers are needed! Our new classrooms meet the new government required standards. Thank you to all who helped us!
There are still many areas of the school that are damaged and in need of new roofing, windows, doors, ceilings, paint, and exterior cement repairs. Please contact us if you would like to help us with ongoing projects or needs and God bless you!

Because of KKM Supporters… Classroom supplies have been purchased, new government required textbooks for teachers and students, special bonus gifts to teachers, some sport equipment replaced, and even uniforms for students in poverty. God Bless Our Supporters!
